Meet Lynn Seta, the author of Patrick's Purpose, A Hummingbird's Journey, and her newest children's book, Leo the Leafy Sea Dragon. Lynn began writing her first children's book because of her lifelong interest in God's creation. As a mother of four, grandmother of eight, Children's ministry director for thirteen years, researcher, and lifelong learner Lynn is committed to fostering and igniting children's imaginations everywhere. Lynn loves reading books aloud, either as herself or her unique character Petunia Potts. When Lynn isn't dreaming of ways to express God's goodness to those around her, she can be found in her garden, playing with her grandchildren under the dining room table, or driving about town spreading joy in her sunshine yellow Kia Soul. Lynn is a member of SCBWI. Patrick's Purpose was a Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers Conference Director's Choice Finalist.
Jessica Seta grew up in a small town in New Hampshire. She always loved to draw and kept it as a hobby for many years, transforming her ideas into charcoal drawings or paintings. Over ten years ago, Jessica began tattooing in Charlotte, North Carolina continued her work in Cincinnati since 2012. She also partners with a local landscaping company to provide creative landscaping designs for their customers. Jessica's perceptiveness and visual insight give her the unique ability to translate other people's thoughts and ideas into different kinds of art. Jessica most enjoys drawing and tattooing florals, botanicals, birds, critters, and just about anything inspired by nature. So, Jessica happily accepted when a children's author and mother-in-law Lynn Seta asked her to expand her artistic abilities into illustrations for a children's book. When not working on one of her clients or various projects, Jessica loves playing games with her two children, Piper and Leo, and visiting breweries with her husband, Franklin. In addition, she enjoys caring for her many plants, drinking a warm cup of coffee while reading a book, and spending time with her two Golden Retrievers.
